Set up in 2016, the principal aim of HW Language Services is to provide business French, German and Russian language tuition and cultural training of the very highest quality to businesses, individuals and membership organisations.
At the very core of HW Language Services is founder and principal language tutor Hayley Wallbank.
Hayley has always been passionate about languages, ever since she first attended a secondary school French lesson aged 11 and felt that a whole new world had opened up to her. She now speaks conversational, technical and business French, German and Russian as well as her native English and has also dabbled in Spanish, Latin and Italian too.
“Languages are a bit addictive, once you have learnt one foreign language you are keen to see how others differ. It also helps to keep the old grey matter agile and active” says Hayley with a smile.
A 25 year career in international business development spanning across European, Middle Eastern, North African and Asian markets were a great way to understand different international business cultures in sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, education, public sector, professional services, automotive, construction and energy to name just a few. This was also a very useful platform for mastering language fluency in various business settings.
During that time, Hayley began to realise that the UK is unfortunately lacking in language skills, in particular for international business, and the situation is unfortunately worsening each year, and so HW Language Services was founded to support those businesses operating internationally to communicate more effectively, to strengthen their client relationships by speaking the same language and to improve efficiency and productivity on overseas contracts.
